The Barred Choices

The air filled with mourns
In an empty amphitheater

Waiting for the carnival of souls
Returning to the home ground

As the slowly dropping silence
Melted into the deplored voices

Of the unheard and unwanted
Joy of the barred choices

Every week! Week after week

Pain of feeding the monster, weak
Every week! Week after week

The clock is on the run
Time is having its sweet fun

This is a Friday Pun
Still 2 to go! Hold on Son!

There will be a Monday
After a run over Sunday

“Give me freedom”
And he grunts at your wish

Locked in a 10×20
Caned by words plenty

Revelations
Post-mortem operations

Awakened you will stand
But dance to tunes of same band

Every moment! Week after week
Brutally strangled, is the meek

Darkness Departed

Lonely stars splintered
And the darkness departed
Miracles do happen!

*My experiments with Life, Haiku, et al*

Transparent Darkness

They have lost their way
From bed in home to their office bay

No smiles and cares
And only stranger stares

Falling in love with the screen
Living a virtual dream

Its off and they are lost
Like fearing a ghost

Running to the plugs
Crazy mad ducks

Wired connections
Unholy directions

Sad inside and laugh out loud
Artificial masks in front of the crowds

Not all they know
Nor a friend not foe

Still lost in the clouded day
From bed in home to their office bay
