Our paths crossed
And the dust settled
Our dreams were eroded
Like life was flowing out
And I could not breathe
Everything seemed the same
You were no longer there
Not in my arms
Not even in sight
As I stood waiting alone
Gazing stars all night
And they would not fall
No luck for me to grab
Till the waves washed away
Illusions, day by day
No fear I hold
Bare feet cold
Smile with the winds
I was alive once
No second chance

Struck home for me. My husband is terminally ill and I’m afraid of the feelings that will come far sooner than I ever imagined.

Julia. I am very sorry to hear this. Everything will fall in place sooner than you imagine. I will pray for you and your husband. Your family will be in my thoughts and well wishes always.
I wish there was a better way out. May you be blessed forever.
